Philadelphia FPAC

Committees and Working Groups

FPAC members establish programmatic committees and working groups to research, study, evaluate, and make recommendations on priority issues. The committees drive the Council’s work forward through regular meetings and collaboration, and members are launching new committees and working groups in the summer of 2023. The committees include Education and Research, Grants and Finance, and Communications & Outreach, and the working groups include Food Forum Development and Design, and Land Defense. FPAC also operates standing committees to ensure Council processes run smoothly, including the Steering Committee (Formerly known as Membership & Governance).

FPAC’s former programmatic subcommittees include Anti-Hunger, Urban Agriculture, Zero Waste, Food & HealthGood Food Procurement and Workforce & Economic Development.

The Philadelphia Food Policy Advisory Council encourages any resident interested in addressing issues in the food system to get involved by coming to a meeting. Our meetings are open to the public, and we welcome all newcomers! To learn more about getting involved, sign up for our General Mailing List!
