Devon Sundberg, MDA, RD, LDN is the Coordinator of Dietetic Services for the Division of Food Services at the School District of Philadelphia. In this role, she assists in feeding the District’s 130,000 students by developing bid and contract language to procure the highest quality food items possible. She is also responsible for coordinating the division’s first annual Student Food Show and district wide Farm to School Day. Devon has actively lobbied to uphold the standards of the Healthy Hunger Free Kds Act by working with the Pew Charitable Trust and serves as a committee member for the Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Network (PANEN), which works to ensure that effective, evidence-based, nutrition resources are available to low income residents throughout the state.
Devon is also a current member of the Food Policy Advisory Council’s Good Food Purchasing Subcommittee. Professionally, she is interested in developing innovative procurement methods to increase the sustainability and quality of products found in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. She holds an undergraduate degree from Tulane University and a Masters of Dietetic Administration from Utah State University.
