Jessica Moore

Jessica Moore, a career technologist, founded an online retail meat business, Philly CowShare, in 2010. She worked with many regional cattle, hog and chicken producers and custom meat processors to aggregate regional, transparent and verified supply and a streamlined supply chain that could work with an e-commerce business model. Jessica sold Philly CowShare in 2015 and is now focused on creating business tools, such as MeatYield, for livestock farmers and meat processors to collaboratively scale regional supply chains. She also consults for Kitchen Table Consultants to provide strategic and business planning and advisor services for food and farm businesses, non-profits and government bureaus. Prior to working in agriculture and sustainable food systems, Jessica worked as a business and product manager for a variety of companies including start-up, medium-sized and Fortune 50 companies.

Jessica completed the Leadership Philadelphia program in 2009 which jump started her service as a board member in the non-profit sector. She served on the board of The Hill at Whitemarsh from 2010 to 2016 where she was Chair of the Governance Committee. Jessica currently serves on the board of Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA). She is acting Board Secretary and a member of the Governance and Nomination Committee. Jessica has a BS, MS and 5 years of a Ph.D in Computer Science and lives in West Philadelphia with her husband and four children.
