Fabricio Rodriguez

Rodriguez
Originally from New Mexico, Fabricio committed his life to improving the lives of working people after he experienced injustices himself while working as a miner. Since that time Fabricio has been an innovator in workplace improvement, organizing worker centers, and independent unions. He later moved to Philadelphia and worked at Jobs with Justice, where he organized security guards at the University of Pennsylvania, Temple, and other area universities. Fabricio also led Philadelphia’s Restaurant Opportunities Center (ROC) starting in 2008, one of the first workers centers of its kind, including a campaign for a citywide paid sick days policy. Fabricio joined the POWER staff in 2014 and leads organizing for congregations in North and Northeast Philadelphia.
