You can get involved with FPAC in several different ways:
1. Join FPAC’s mailing list
If you have limited time, but want to stay up-to-date on FPAC’s activities, join our mailing list! The Communications & Outreach Subcommittee releases a bimonthly newsletter with FPAC subcommittee updates and information about news and events that supporters might be interested in.
2. Join us on social media
3. Attend a general meeting or executive session
FPAC hosts general meetings six times a year on the first Wednesday in February, April, June, August, October, and December from 3pm to 5pm. In the first hour, you will hear updates from each of the FPAC subcommittees. The second hour is usually dedicated to a presentation or training about various topics and tools.
Executive sessions take place on the first Wednesday of the general meeting “off months.” These meetings, which are not required for FPAC members, provide space for a deeper dive into FPAC-related issues.
To receive a reminder about upcoming FPAC meetings, join our mailing list.
4. Join a subcommittee
FPAC currently operates six subcommittees that work on FPAC projects and drive the Council’s work forward. Subcommittees usually meet monthly, alternating between in-person meetings and conference calls. Check out our Subcommittees page to learn more and get in touch with a subcommittee Chair to attend a meeting.
5. Submit a nomination form for FPAC
FPAC regularly welcomes new members to FPAC in the summer and winter, and occasionally throughout the year when the need is identified. To be considered for appointment to FPAC, you must be nominated through our online form. Self-nominations are welcome. For more information on what it means to be an appointed member, visit the Who We Are page.
6. Get in Touch
FPAC welcomes questions, comments, feedback, and suggestions! Send them along to firstname.lastname@example.org.
