Philadelphia FPAC

Get Involved

You can get involved with FPAC in several different ways:

1. Attend an Upcoming General Session

FPAC convenes general sessions six times a year on the fourth Tuesday in February, April, June, August, October, and December from 2pm to 4pm. In the first hour, you will hear updates from each of the FPAC committees and working groups. The second hour is usually dedicated to a presentation or training about various topics and tools. The next General Session is:

Date: June 25th, 2024

2. Become a Member of FPAC

FPAC regularly welcomes new members to FPAC in the summer and winter, and occasionally throughout the year when the need is identified. FPAC has multiple ways for individuals, groups, agencies, and organizations to join membership or contribute labor and expertise to our work! To be considered for appointment to FPAC, you must be nominated through our online form. Self-nominations are welcome. For more information on what it means to be an appointed member, visit the Who We Are page.

3. Join an FPAC Working Group

FPAC currently operates six subcommittees that work on FPAC projects and drive the Council’s work forward. Subcommittees usually meet monthly, alternating between in-person meetings and conference calls. Check out our Subcommittees page to learn more and get in touch with a subcommittee Chair to attend a meeting.

4. Join FPAC’s Mailing List

If you have limited time, but want to stay up-to-date on FPAC’s activities, join our mailing list! The Communications & Outreach Committee releases a bimonthly newsletter with FPAC committee and working group updates, member and committee highlights, grant opportunities, seasonal content, and much more! They also share opportunities to join committee and working groups open to the public, and it is a great way to stay connected to our work. 3. Join us on social media

Find us on Facebook and Twitter @PhillyFPAC for council updates, food justice news, partner events, and more.
