Nicky Uy is a Senior Associate with The Food Trust’s Farmers’ Market Program. She works with community partners and outside collaborators to conduct outreach to customers and enhance existing farmers’ markets. She provides on-site market management and works on developing marketing and promotional campaigns to increase sales. She is always on the look out for new farmers, new locations and new partners for markets. Nicky is also the Farmers Market Alliance Coordinator and works on initiatives that improve economic markets for farmers. She has been involved with the Headhouse Square Farmers’ Market from inception before the location was determined, working with a large committee that surveyed over 30 locations. She is thrilled to be a part of the Headhouse Market after 2 years of planning. Previously, Nicky worked as a logistics and transportation IT consultant providing blue-chip clients with software to manage resources and to show real-time visibility of their products.
