FPAC released its food policy platform, A Philadelphia Food Policy Road Map, on Sunday, April 12, 2014 at the Philadelphia Food Policy and the Next Mayor Forum. The platform, developed by FPAC appointed members, is a guide for the next mayoral administration to help support a healthy, fair Philadelphia food system. The platform covers:
- 20 facts about the Philadelphia food system;
- 10 challenges and opportunities facing the Philadelphia food system; and
- Recommendations to support the food system and improve the health of all Philadelphians.
In 2017-2018, FPAC members and public subcommittees updated the policy recommendations in the Road Map. Click here for FPAC’s latest priorities!
