The Communications & Outreach Subcommittee is one of two standing subcommittees established to guide FPAC operations. The subcommittee manages the Council’s internal and external communications, including a bimonthly newsletter for FPAC members and supporters, presentations at community meetings, press releases, social media, outreach materials, and website maintenance. The subcommittee supports FPAC’s programmatic subcommittees in developing standardized materials for distribution, and promoting their events. Subcommittee members often have professional communications, marketing, or public relations expertise that they use to promote FPAC reports, events, and news.
The subcommittee releases a monthly newsletter for FPAC members and supporters. The newsletter includes updates from FPAC’s subcommittees and information about upcoming events or news that FPAC members would like to share with stakeholders. In March 2015, subcommittee upgraded the newsletter design using MailChimp. To subscribe, click here.
