All submissions should be sent to phillycompostcompetition@gmail.com with the subject line “Design Submission.”

Design submissions should include a completed submission form and an illustration that clearly illustrates the structure and operation of the composter. Illustrations should be submitted as Sketchup models, CAD drawings, or scaled hand drawings.

Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges, who will select finalists. The finalists will be funded to build their designs, and local composting organizations will host each finalist build over a period of a few months to test out the concept. Judges will then confer with the host organizations to select a winner.
